Our unique approach to learning through various mentoring activities allows us to build positive relationships with students in an informal ‘family-like’ environment. As part of the extended mentoring, we guide students into out-of-hours activities with a positive role model. The focus of the mentoring is behavioural change and relationship building, as well as developing life skills within a caring and supportive environment.
Below are some examples of included mentoring activities:
- Rock climbing;
- Ropes courses;
- Visits to entertainment venues;
- Adventure activities;
- Girls & boys touch football;
- Golf; and
- Video gaming events.
