Become a Volunteer.

Glendyne would not survive without the committment of our volunteer staff. Being a volunteer at Glendyne can be a rewarding experience. We currently have approximately 40 volunteer staff. Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds, and posses a variety of skills. However one thing that is common, is, that they have a desire to see each one of these disadvantaged youth reach their full potential.

Being a volunteer is not about just helping the organisation with the day-to-day tasks, but more importantly becoming a positive role model and a friend to the students. We encourage all our volunteers to become involved in the 'Mentoring Program'. The Mentoring Program is funded under the Federal Governments 'Mentor in the MarketPlace grant' (new window). Through this program you are linked with 1 - 3 students, and through various activities of your choice, you are able to provide guidance and life skills development to each one of the mentees in your care. All costs are met through the program, including yours.

If you would like to be a volunteer and/or mentor, please contact using the contact information on the left.

Please Note: You are required to have a "Suitability to work with children - Blue Card" (new window), to work with children in Queensland. If you do not have a 'Blue card' this can be arranged through the Glendyne Administration office
